Paul Courtney

Paul Courtney is a Sydney-based motion designer with a love for crafting visuals that move with purpose. Blending design, animation and storytelling, his work spans broadcast, sport and social content.

Starting out in visual effects, Paul found his niche in motion design – where art direction meets movement. Over the years, he’s shaped the look and feel of networks and shows for the ABC, Fox Sports, Foxtel Music, and Optus Sport, creating everything from full rebrands to show packages and on-air graphics.

A graduate of UNSW’s College of Fine Arts with a Bachelor of Digital Media, Paul brings a deep understanding of visual systems, brand identity and screen design. With expertise in After Effects, Cinema 4D, The Adobe Suite and Ross Xpression, he combines solid technical skills with a sharp eye for movement and design.
