Luke Yiangou Mason

I’m a multi-skilled filmmaker specialising in creative content, experienced in both large-scale productions and one-man-band setups.

As a storyteller, I’m committed to finding ways to cinematically express the heart of a story with authenticity, originality, and emotional resonance.

With degrees in English, Psychology (B.Soc.Sc.), and Television Production (B.Tech.), I began my career as an assistant to Sean Penn on The Last Face (2014), where I had the rare opportunity to direct Second Unit on my very first industry project.

Since then, I’ve produced marketing material for major studios including Apple TV+, HBO, Paramount Pictures, NBCUniversal, and BBC America; shot and produced for television networks such as Channel 7, 9, and SBS; written and directed a feature documentary; and produced online branded content.

I’m an award-winning director and a member of the Directors Guild of America, with credits on several major Hollywood productions.
