Petr Vackar
Shortly after finishing his hairdressing qualification Petr left for Paris to undertake a three month makeup course at Dior house. When Petr return to his hometown of Prague he attended historical / period Hair and Makeup Training (1996-1997) within BARRANDOV International Motion-Picture Studio [Prague, Czech Republic].
Petr has been fortunate enough to travel to some of the most significant fashion cities in Europe for various fashion weeks, commercials & fashion shows. For more than 10 years Petr would travel 8 months out of the year and these amazing experiences shaped his talent and give him confidence in the industry not only in Europe but also in New York and now Australia (where he has been working since 2005 after following his dream to live here).
As a fully qualified hairdresser and makeup artist, Petr has some 15 years experience in the industry working in European high fashion, feature films, TV commercials, TV programs and theatre. Petr has the skills and expertise to work confidently under extremely demanding, stressful and time-limited conditions.
